Why did you choose UNLV? What led you to pursue a degree in education?
I really liked the higher ed program at UNLV and how it offered different concentrations to either study something specific or have the option to transition to different aspects of the program to get a field of it. The assistantship the university offered is what I felt really helped with this as well, I learned so many new skills

How did UNLV prepare you for your career?
UNLV really helped me with strategic thinking and working with diverse populations. I also had the opportunity to teach at UNLV during my program which really helped me my career early on

Why should alumni stay engaged at UNLV?

It’s good to stay engaged at UNLV because you meet other alumni and people who are passionate about UNLV, its a great way to network with others.

Are you a COE alum? Let us know what you’ve got going on by submitting a Class Note or getting involved!
